Google Chrome

I have tried a lot of different web e-mail programs, but in my opinion Google is the best. At first I didn't like it much. I tend to like a lot of organization, which for me means multiple folders. The prospect of no folders, just archiving, sounded a bit sketchy. Yet, as I got used to it, I realized that archiving is kind of like having folders and the search function helps you to be able to find things quickly. The Google Chat element was also pretty cool.

Now Google has come out with a new browser called "Google Chrome." I have been trying out the beta version, and I am kind of liking it. I suppose time will tell, if I truly like it or not. So far it seems that once I get more used to it I will like it a lot.

Google Inc. says that one of its best features will be its speed. Google has notice that if its search page loads fractionally faster, users will search more often. This means that the users will see more ads. This also means that Google's online application for e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, and calendars can become faster and fuller-featured. That part is kind of interesting to me. I like the online documents (etc.), but I have found that they load rather slowly in browsers.
